About Us
Colorado has abundant resources, yet opportunity gaps persist for Black and Brown youth when systems stay fragmented and accountability is measured only by short-term program metrics.
Founded in 2006, My Brother's and Sister's Keepers Colorado has grown from grassroots programs like The Brotherhood at Smoky Hill High School into a statewide backbone organization. We convene cross-sector partners to coordinate strategy, strengthen data-informed accountability, and sustain youth-centered solutions across education, health, justice, and economic mobility.
MBSK Colorado does not duplicate direct services on the ground—we partner with agencies, schools, community organizations, and business leaders so Colorado's Black and Brown youth can access opportunity, support, and pathways to success.

MBSK Colorado's mission is to disrupt and dismantle cumulative adverse childhood and young-adulthood experiences that affect Colorado's Black and Brown communities intergenerationally.
We advance that mission as a statewide backbone—partnering with agencies, schools, community organizations, and business leaders without duplicating direct services on the ground.
